Is PeopleOwl free?

Every search includes a free preview showing whether we have a record and the shape of what's on file. Full details are unlocked with a paid plan.

Is this a background check?

No. PeopleOwl is for personal research only and is not a consumer reporting agency. It can't be used for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions.

Where does the data come from?

Public records and commercially available data sources — the same categories other people-search services use. Records can be incomplete or out of date, and we label them honestly.

How do I remove myself?

Use the opt-out page to take yourself off in one step, no account needed. Because records refresh over time, you may need to re-check occasionally.

How do I cancel?

In iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Two taps, no runaround.
